<p>Why do people carry so much junk onboard a plane with them? Even on a long haul flight there is no need to take so much carry on baggage. </p>
<p>All you need are the basics: drinks - water, coke etc. A couple of small snacks. One or two books or magazines. And at a push your laptop but that&#8217;s it!!!</p>
<p>It never works that way though, endless people with HUGE bags full of goodness knows what, taped up boxes that are never going to squeeze into the overhead cabins and &#8217;small&#8217; luggage bags with handles and wheels.
